About Us

We have formed aiM Charity in memory of our beautiful daughter Mia who, despite being taken to the doctors several times with a 'virus', tragically died 15 hours later through Sepsis caused by Strep A in December 2022. The shock, trauma and life changing reality of living without our daughter is tremendously painful. In honour of our beautiful daughter Mia and to keep us going for our son Beau, we aiM to help others by raising awareness of Sepsis to save lives and hopefully stop others feeling the same pain. ✨ 🌈 💖

We want to, have done and will continue to raise awareness of Sepsis. We strive to help families who have been affected by Sepsis by funding counselling / therapy sessions as we feel like this is not easily reached when needed the most. ✨ 🌈 💖

Services

Raising Awareness

We are dedicated to raising awareness of Sepsis, the devastating effects but more importantly, what signs and symptoms you should be looking out for. Here at aiM we are working with local organisations and the local community to bring Sepsis to the forefront of peoples minds and encouraging everyone to ask themselves 'Could it be Sepsis?' We are doing this by partnering with local football teams such as Chatterley Vics who have the aiM logo proudly displayed on their football strips as well as banners which highlight the signs and symptoms you should be looking out for - check out the 'Sepsis Awareness' section below for more information.

Community Support

aiM is dedicated to supporting the local community as the local community and businesses are in supporting aiM. If you have suffered loss or you have a family member that has been through a traumatic time, aiM can signpost you to professional help so that you can begin the journey of healing. This is something that has no cure, but reaching out and having a conversation with a professional can help in a small way. In some circumstances, aiM can help by covering the cost of professional support, aiM has partnered with local professionals so that you can access the help YOU need when YOU need it.
